Global Education Program

Becoming Global Citizens
The Global Education program at The Merle-Smith Campus provides optional international travel experiences for Moravian Academy students. Typically offered over Spring Break and early summer, each faculty-led trip encourages hands-on learning, student engagement with the local community and aligns with Moravian Academy’s vision to prepare students to be interconnected as global citizens in the school community and beyond. Curating an understanding of diverse cultures, each travel opportunity offers a unique and exciting approach to experiential learning where students are challenged to become the best version of themselves while creating long-lasting friendships and connections.
“Costa Rica really boosted my confidence in my Spanish speaking skills, knowing that I could talk to and easily understand the locals. Exploring a new country and culture with friends from Moravian Academy was an experience I’ll never forget.”
