As the Director of Institutional Advancement, my goals—and the goals of the entire Advancement team—is to ensure that we foster strong relationships with the many constituents of Moravian Academy and ensure that the philanthropic needs of the school are met. We are true believers in independent schools and especially in what Moravian Academy has to offer. I began my tenure here in 2006 and have enjoyed nearly 25 years in the advancement profession in various leadership roles at independent schools and as a consultant.

I am excited to serve Moravian Academy in yet another role. Having been a teacher for 15 years and Director of the Lower School for the past 7, my intimate knowledge of our school mission, vision, and culture guides my new responsibilities in Advancement. I look forward to fostering relationships with all constituents — students, alumni, parents, grandparents, and all friends of the Academy — to ultimately secure the foundation for excellence in education. Philanthropy expressed through donations of charitable dollars, time, and talents, build community, and I value engaging everyone for these common goals.

A 25-year career in fundraising, event planning, and marketing led me to Moravian Academy in May 2012. In my role, I enjoy keeping in touch with alumni so they can stay connected to former classmates and members of their alma mater community. Events, regional visits, Reunion weekend, and social media are just some of the ways that we can keep in touch! I look forward to perpetuating a dynamic alumni outreach program. If you are ever in the neighborhood, feel free to stop by for a visit!

My primary responsibilities are to acknowledge gifts donated to the Academy by our generous community and to coordinate the Moravian Academy Country Fair and other events throughout the year such as the First-Year Parents' Dinners and the Parents of Alumni Reception. I look forward to seeing families, new and old, at these special occasions.

I work side by side with parent volunteers to coordinate the Academy’s fundraising events, including the Moravian Academy Auction and the Moravian Academy Golf Outing. I also work closely with the Moravian Academy Parents’ Association to help coordinate their events and activities throughout the year. Whether it’s wrapping cookies for a Lovefeast, dressing candles for Vespers, or coordinating the Parents’ Social, I look forward to working with you on these unique activities.
