SIGNATURE PROGRAMS AND EXPERIENCES

In our state-of-the-art Engineering and Design Lab, students of all ages build curiosity, creativity, and confidence — along with go-karts, gliders, LED paper sculptures, circuits, furniture, and more.
Our special emphasis on theater and public speaking gives your child the tools and encouragement to become a persuasive, expressive, and authentic communicator—in the classroom, across our campus, and in the wider community.
Our Outdoor Education Program develops scientific knowledge, independence, and environmental stewardship, as your child embarks on day and—later—overnight field trips to study complex ecosystems and enhance leadership skills.

    The Swain Campus serves 234 students in Preschool through Grade 8 on 20 acres of green space in Allentown. Athletic fields, playgrounds, and outdoor learning venues give children room to explore, while the campus keeps the close-knit feel of a small school.

    The Swain Campus offers a secular, project-based curriculum where learning is hands-on and engaging in every grade and subject.     No. The Swain Campus offers a fully secular, values-based program for Preschool through Grade 8.

Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 can ride buses provided by 13 area school districts, including Allentown, Parkland, East Penn, Whitehall-Coplay, Salisbury, Southern Lehigh, and Northwestern Lehigh. A free InterCampus Shuttle also connects the Swain Campus with the Merle-Smith Campus.

    The Swain Campus Outdoor Education Program builds scientific knowledge, independence, and environmental stewardship through day and overnight field experiences. Recent trips include a kayaking "Floating Classroom" at Green Lane Reservoir for sixth graders, a coastal ecosystems study at Chincoteague Bay Field Station for seventh graders, and a three-day Sassafras River exploration for Middle Schoolers.
