Join us on Mondays for creative writing club- where stories come alive, worlds are built from your words, and your pencil is your magic wand! We will publish our writing/enter it into different publications. We will also plan to have an open-mic night to share your stories!
Stop Motion Animation
Age: Grades 1–5

Did you ever wonder how your favorite cartoons are made? Here is your chance to create your own animated film using the exciting stop motion method. Our program will culminate with the opportunity for our student videographers to enter their original films into our annual Moravian Academy Film Festival.

What's 3D printing all about? Learn how to 3D print with Mr. Pomeroy! We will learn how to use Tinkercad to create fun objects to print on our school's Prusa 3D printer. Printing has never been this much fun!
TUESDAYS
Kids Yoga Storytime
Age: Grades K–4

Join The Lovely Little Lotus in partnership with The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem for our 2nd year of Kids Yoga Storytime. Each class will explore a different theme using yoga and mindfulness through the use of books, games, music, art & more.
STEM K’Nex Challenge
Age: Grades 4–8
Instructor: Brad Pomeroy & Yuli Vanegas

Students in grades 4-8 are challenged to build an object with a certain theme and with K’nex. The theme relates to building a sustainable production machine. This is an opportunity to get your child immersed in real-world solutions to real-world problems!
Teams design and build the required object for this year’s challenge using a blueprint. At the challenge, they will present a narrative report, submit blueprints/cost sheets, and build their object within a certain time limit.
NOTE: This program is 1.5 hours long each Tuesday. The competition will be held at Northampton County Community College, Monroe Campus, on March 27th. If any of our teams advance to the state competition, it will be held on May 8th in Harrisburg, PA.

Learn to bring a stage to life! In this exciting after-school program, we will be creating backdrops and props for this year’s 4th and 5th grade Lower School Player’s Spring production! We will be using a variety of hands on mixed media techniques, to prepare for the exciting culminating performance in May. This is a unique opportunity for students to create dynamic artwork that will take center stage! We hope you can join us!

Inspired by Illustration

Learn to create artwork like your favorite children’s book illustrators! This class will introduce a number of well-known illustrators, giving students the opportunity to take inspiration from children’s literature to create exciting works of art.
Breathe and Be
Age: Grades K–3

Breathe & Be gives students a calm and welcoming space to explore their feelings and learn simple tools to relax, focus, and communicate with confidence. Each session includes breathing exercises, gentle yoga-style movement, and creative activities that help children strengthen self-awareness, manage stress, and build healthy habits that support learning and well-being.
Magic School Bus Science

Students will enjoy one episode of this classic science video series each week and then do a related experiment or project in the science lab.
