Early Childhood at Moravian Academy

Nurturing the Next Generation
At Moravian Academy, we believe that the foundation of a lifelong love for learning is built upon a balance of academic rigor and purposeful play. Our Early Childhood program is designed for families who seek an educational environment that prioritizes both intellectual curiosity and the warmth of a nurturing community.

A Globally Recognized Foundation

Our curriculum facilitates a seamless transition into primary education by fostering purposeful, play-based learning experiences. We focus on cultivating the essential skills that prepare our students for a lifetime of leadership and learning:
Curiosity
Inquiry-Based Discovery: Encouraging a natural desire to explore, question, and understand the world.
Agency
Student Independence: Empowering youngest learners to take ownership and develop self-confidence.
Connection
Global Citizenship: Nurturing empathy and awareness within a diverse community.
By thoughtfully bridging the gap between academic foundations and creative exploration, we ensure that by the time our students complete the program, they possess the intellectual readiness and social maturity to leap into first grade with confidence.
Our Early Childhood program is offered on either of our Preschool - 8th Grade Campuses, the Historic Downtown Campus in Bethlehem or the Swain Campus in Allentown.

The Moravian Cub Program: Excellence, All Year Round

Our Moravian Cub Program offers a comprehensive experience for Preschool through Kindergarten students. Recognizing the needs of modern, high-achieving families, we provide the flexibility of traditional academic-year enrollment or a full, year-round program. Whether during the school day or throughout summer breaks, our "Cubs" engage in enrichment and exploration that maintains the high standards of a Moravian education.
