Upper School Community Comes to Life Through Student-Council Led Art Installation
Jennifer TumSuden
At our Merle-Smith Campus, creativity and community come together in myriad meaningful ways, and we are thrilled to have a new visual reminder of this ethos in Walter Hall.
Guided by the Student Council, this Upper School project invited each student and faculty member to create a small canvas tile representing themselves or the larger community. These individual expressions were then thoughtfully arranged into a mosaic that captures the spirit of the 2024–2025 Upper School. Designed to reflect the richness and range of experiences within our community, the piece offers a lasting tribute to the people who shape our shared spaces.
The mural now stands as both a testament to individual voices and a celebration of collective identity, reminding all who pass by of the unique and united spirit of Moravian Academy’s Upper School.
