The Imaginate Makerspace

Hands-On Innovation in the Imaginate Makerspace

In the Imaginate Makerspace, students from Kindergarten through 8th grade engage in hands-on, inquiry-based projects designed to cultivate curiosity, foster creativity, and build essential problem-solving skills. This state-of-the-art engineering and design laboratory offers opportunities for students to explore concepts in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, with each grade level participating in projects intentionally integrated with the academic curriculum. Through these dynamic, interdisciplinary experiences, students develop the confidence and critical thinking skills necessary to navigate an ever-evolving world.
Projects with Purpose: Connecting Classrooms to the Makerspace

At every grade level, Imaginate Makerspace projects are thoughtfully designed to complement and extend classroom learning. From Pennsylvania wildlife studies in Kindergarten to independent design projects in Eighth Grade, each experience connects hands-on making with core academic concepts. Students progressively build their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills as they move through the grades, with projects intentionally tailored to their developmental stage and curriculum. Whether sculpting, engineering, coding, or constructing, students apply classroom knowledge in authentic, interdisciplinary ways—transforming ideas into tangible creations and gaining the confidence to think critically and innovate.
