A Celebration of Academic and Artistic Excellence: VIP Day at the Swain Campus

This spring, the Swain Campus of Moravian Academy welcomed families and friends for its annual VIP Day — a joyful celebration of student achievement in academics and the arts. From preschool through eighth grade, students proudly shared their hard work, filling the campus with creativity, energy, and community spirit.

This year’s music performances brought the magic of the movies to campus with the theme “Day at the Movies.” The Cougar Choir, Orff Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, and Modern Band delivered lively, crowd-pleasing numbers inspired by favorite film soundtracks. Each grade also took the stage with special performances, showcasing the confidence, joy, and musical growth of every student.

Throughout campus, classrooms transformed into vibrant galleries of student learning. Visitors explored thoughtful, interdisciplinary projects that reflected the curiosity and creativity of our students. Kindergartners proudly presented their culminating project on Pennsylvania wildlife, while third graders stepped into character for their Prominent Pennsylvanian Wax Gallery, bringing important historical figures to life through research and performance. Eighth graders impressed audiences with a Shark Tank-style presentation advocating for global human rights initiatives — a powerful example of leadership, empathy, and persuasive communication.

VIP Day reflected the strength and heart of our school community. Faculty, staff, and administrators guided and encouraged students as they prepared performances and projects, ensuring a day filled with meaningful moments and opportunities to shine.
