  • Tuition & fees

The tuition for Moravian Academy is set annually by the Board of Trustees after reviewing the financial budget and in accordance with our by-laws as a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. As our Board went through the budgeting process for the 2026-27 school year, we gave careful consideration to how to balance the competing challenges of keeping tuition increases reasonable while having the resources to keep great teachers and maintain small class sizes. Over the past several years, inflation has skyrocketed, and expenses have risen more than expected.  In addition, the extremely competitive labor market is causing compensation growth and competition for talent that further test Moravian Academy’s budget. Just like you, our teachers have seen their cost of living increase dramatically.  And like most independent schools, we rely primarily on tuition to support our great teachers and operate excellent educational programs.  The tuition rates for the 2026-27 school year reflect Moravian Academy’s commitment to what you care about most.

For more details, please visit the tuition page on our website.

  • Financial Aid Appeal

The Financial Aid Committee has made every effort to award need-based financial aid fairly and equitably. Awards are based on the financial information input at the time of application for financial assistance.

If you believe your application misrepresented your financial situation or your financial situation has changed since you applied, you may request reconsideration of your financial aid award. The committee has worked to streamline the appeal process so it is easier on families.  Please email Elyse McGovern, Director of Enrollment Management, at emcgovern@mamail.net for instructions.

To submit an appeal, please complete and return this Request for Appeal form to the attention of Elyse McGovern, Director of Enrollment Management, at financialaid@mamail.net.

Appeal requests will be considered after all returning families receive their initial financial aid awards, or after April 1, 2026. At that time, the Financial Aid Committee will review each appeal to determine if additional assistance is warranted and available within Moravian Academy’s financial aid policy and budget.
