The Upper School Production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime captivated audiences with its powerful characters, thoughtful design, and exceptional storytelling—an inspiring celebration of student talent and difference.
Under the expert direction and choreography of Brooke Harrsch, with set design by Rob Riker and lighting by Rob Riker and Sarah Carter '26, the performance delivered a blend of charm, struggle, and captivating moments.
A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated tech team for all their work behind the scenes: Stage Manager Sarah Carter '26, Sound Technicians Joselyn Marquez '26 and Eric Weems '27, Projectionist Tyler Shankweiler '26, and Light Board Operators Gabby Jolliffe '27 and Shiloh Zhu '27. Special gratitude also goes to alumni parent Joe Pokojni for installing the state-of-the-art projection system with blue-chip sound.
A standout moment in the production was the appearance of Maglite (Maggie), an adorable puppy provided by Last Chance Ranch, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. Maggie’s role added an extra layer of warmth and heart to an already stellar performance.
This production exemplified the dedication, passion, and creativity that our students and faculty bring to every endeavor. Bravo to all who made this theatrical experience truly unforgettable, what a way to close out the 2024-25 Theatre Season!
