Announcing Interim Chief Financial and Operations Officer Darrell Giles, CPA

I am pleased to announce that Darrell Giles, CPA, has joined Moravian Academy as our Interim Chief Financial and Operations Officer. With over 30 years of experience in public accounting, nonprofit financial management, and corporate strategy, Darrell brings a wealth of expertise in financial leadership, compliance, and operational oversight.

 

Throughout his career, Darrell has successfully guided organizations in financial decision-making, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at Philabundance, where he managed a $41 million budget and led financial operations, procurement, and IT management. He has also held leadership roles at Redcross Martin & Associates, Citrin Cooperman and Company, and Mitchell Titus, where he oversaw multimillion-dollar portfolios and spearheaded business development initiatives.

 

Darrell is a trusted advisor and executive leader, known for his collaborative approach and commitment to financial excellence. His expertise in auditing, tax strategy, and operational efficiency will be invaluable in supporting Moravian Academy’s mission and continued growth.

 

Darrell is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he was a member of the 1982 Sugar Bowl and 1987 Fiesta Bowl Championship Teams. Please join me in welcoming Darrell to the Moravian Academy community!
