Winter Holiday Card & Vespers Program Art Submissions
We are looking for student art submissions for the Moravian Academy Holiday Card. One design from each campus will be selected based on how the artwork expresses how our Moravian Academy community enjoys the winter holiday season. Merle-Smith and Historic Downtown students also have the opportunity to be chosen for the Vespers program cover. A Lower School student's work will be chosen for the Lower School Vespers program, and either a Middle or Upper School student's work will be chosen for the evening Vespers program.
*This is totally voluntary, but if you would like a chance to have your artwork professionally printed and distributed to our Moravian Academy community, this is your opportunity!
Directions: Design a bright, joyful image that reflects our diverse community and the many traditions we celebrate. Past submissions have connected with various themes in nature, our school community values, religious traditions, and the spirit of the season.
Artistic Medium: Any 2D medium will be accepted for consideration. Suggestions include colored pencil, marker, paint, or pastel on paper, cardboard or canvas; collage; or digital drawing.
Submissions: There are two ways to submit your designs.
Hand in a physical copy to your campus art teacher. To be considered, all hard copies must be neatly labeled with student's first name, last name, and grade.
Email a high-resolution scan to your campus art teacher.
The final deadline for all submissions is Friday, November 8, 2024 at 8:00 AM.
Please note: If you use our school logo to inspire your art, please be sure to use THIS FILE.
