Moravians Helping Moravians: Used Uniform Donations

As we transition to new uniforms with our refreshed logo, Moravian Academy saw an opportunity to put our previous apparel to meaningful use. Many of our shirts, fleeces, and long-sleeve tops were still in excellent condition, and we knew they could make a difference for others.

With the help of Central Moravian Church and the Board of World Mission, these items were delivered to the Bluefields Moravian School in Nicaragua and in the Karawala Río Coco area, a community recently impacted by devastating floods.

This summer, seven large boxes filled with uniforms in a variety of sizes were shipped and arrived in Nicaragua at the end of July. The effort was made possible through the generous support of Central’s Mission Committee and the Board of World Mission. We are deeply grateful for their partnership in helping put these uniforms to good use
