Kindergarteners on our Swain Campus lit up the stage earlier this week with their joyful performance of Rainbow Fish, the beloved tale of a little fish who learns that true beauty comes from kindness, sharing, and connection. Through music, movement, and expressive storytelling, the young performers captivated the audience as Rainbow Fish gave away her shimmering scales and discovered that we all shine in our own unique ways.
When asked about their favorite parts of the experience, students beamed as they shared highlights like dressing up in costumes, speaking into the microphones, and performing for their families.
More than just a heartwarming tradition, the kindergarten play serves as an important milestone in each student’s growth. At the Swain Campus, public speaking is seen as a vital part of a child’s development. From delivering lines and singing songs to simply standing confidently on stage, students begin building foundational skills in voice projection, body language, and stage presence—tools that will serve them for years to come.
