Technology in Action

On the Swain Campus, students in grades PS-8 engage in hands-on engineering and design projects using MacBooks in the Imaginate Makerspace. This innovative learning environment fosters creativity and problem-solving skills, allowing young minds to explore various aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Equipped with MacBooks, students have access to cutting-edge technology, enabling them to design, prototype, and bring their ideas to life.

On the Historic Downtown Campus, The Moravian Academy Broadcasting Company (MABC) is a dynamic student-led organization that leverages cutting-edge technology to bring the latest news and events to the school community. Using state-of-the-art equipment and digital platforms, MABC members actively engage in video production, live broadcasting, and multimedia storytelling. This student-run initiative serves as a hub for creative expression, fostering digital media skills and promoting a sense of community through the dissemination of relevant and compelling content.

On the Merle-Smith Campus, students use technology to produce insightful microeconomics podcasts. They employ audio recording and editing software, conduct research online, and collaborate using digital tools. The podcasts cover diverse microeconomic topics, featuring expert interviews, case studies, and student insights. By leveraging social media and podcast platforms, students share their work globally, creating an engaging and tech-enhanced learning experience.
