Caitlyn “Cait” Davies – Class of 2008
Caitlyn "Cait" Davies ‘08 played varsity Field Hockey while at Moravian Academy. She said, “A winning season can be had in more ways than one. While beating the other team is preferable, learning and growing from mistakes is best in the long run. That is what defines MA field hockey - our 110% driven effort and hunger to improve as individuals, but most importantly, as a team. We faced stiff competition in back-to-back games, and at times, came up one or two goals short; however, we never left the field without a “goal” of some kind. Our desire to win always remained, seen by a return to the District XI tournament, 5 shutouts, 47 goals for, and a 11-10 season record. Teams come and go, but goals never die.”
