Moravian Academy Boys Lacrosse Program Earns National Recognition
USA Lacrosse has announced its annual high school awards, which honor student-athletes and coaches for excellence on the field, in the classroom, and within their communities. Following a truly historic season for our program, Moravian Academy is proud to announce two distinguished recipients for this year:
- Andrew Stitt '08 MA, Coach of the Year: Recognized for his leadership and commitment to the development of student-athletes, this regional honor celebrates coaches who elevate high school teams and demonstrate exceptional dedication to the sport. As a Moravian Academy alumnus who served as an assistant coach for seven years and has spent the past four as head coach, Coach Stitt guided the team to a milestone District Championship win for the first time in school history.
- Caleb Albert ‘27 NDGP, All-Academic Award: Awarded to players who demonstrate elite skills and sportsmanship on the field while maintaining the highest academic standards in the classroom. Caleb earned this recognition following an exceptional year on and off the field, maintaining a 4.02 GPA while contributing to the team's historic District Championship season.
