Moravian Academy Middle School Students Earn Top Honors at PJAS
JoAnne Daniels
Twenty-four Moravian Academy Middle School students from the Historic Downtown and Swain Campuses traveled to Penn State’s main campus from Sunday, May 17, through Tuesday, May 19, to participate in the annual state-level STEM competition.
Students who earned First Awards at the regional competition in February had the opportunity to present their STEM research projects alongside fellow First Award recipients from across Pennsylvania. In addition to presenting their own work, our students also served as room technicians, assisting judges and presenters throughout the competition.
Beyond the competition itself, students enjoyed experiencing life on a college campus while meeting and connecting with fellow STEM students from across the state.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, professionalism, and enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Please see the following list of student awards and leadership roles held during the competition.
