Announcing Horace Jenkins as Varsity Girls’ Basketball Head Coach

Moravian Academy is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Horace Jenkins as the new Varsity Girls’ Basketball Head Coach.

Coach Jenkins brings more than 15 years of coaching, training, and mentorship experience, along with a distinguished background as a former NBA player with the Detroit Pistons and an accomplished international professional career. His experience competing at the highest levels of the game adds a powerful perspective to the program and a valuable opportunity for student-athletes to learn from someone who has excelled on the global stage.

In addition to his playing career, Coach Jenkins is highly regarded for his commitment to player development and program building. As the founder and director of the Team Jenkins Basketball Organization, he has guided and mentored numerous athletes who have advanced to compete at the collegiate level. His focus on discipline, growth, and character development aligns strongly with Moravian Academy’s mission and values.

Moravian Academy is also grateful that Mr. Paul Reduzzi and Mrs. Kyle Shaughnessy will continue as integral members of the coaching staff. Their experience, leadership, and dedication will provide important continuity and support as the program moves into this exciting new chapter.
