Moravian Academy Students Selected for Villars Institute Program 2026

Congratulations to Lily Razavi' 27, Kathryn Carolan '28Maddie Yang '27, and Ayush Jain '28 who have been selected to represent Moravian Academy as our inaugural Villars Fellowship cohort this year! These students will be traveling to Switzerland with Katherine Burd in June to attend the Villars Institute Symposium.

The Villars Fellowship Program, based in the Swiss Alps, is a lifelong learning journey designed to empower a new generation of systems leaders for a healthier planet, through intergenerational and interdisciplinary collaboration. Villars Fellows are students from partner schools around the world who are driven by a passion for enabling change toward a resilient, sustainable future.

Lily, Kathryn, Maddie, and Ayush were chosen not simply for their academic strength, but for who they are as learners and community members: curious, reflective, and globally minded students with a strong and genuine interest in sustainability and systems-level change.

Each student brings a distinct perspective alongside a shared commitment to engaging deeply with the Fellowship’s themes. We are confident they will represent our community with integrity, insight, and enthusiasm, and we hope their participation helps establish a strong foundation for future years.
