Important Private Transportation Updates for the 2025–26 School Year

As we prepare for the 2025–26 school year, we want to inform you of important updates to our private transportation services. To better manage rising transportation costs, we are ending our contract with Palmeri and will begin directly hiring bus drivers to operate our school-owned buses and vans. This change will result in an estimated 20% cost savings for families across all routes.

With this shift, we will be moving to a shuttle system between campuses to ensure efficient and sustainable travel for our students. If your child has previously used our private transportation service, you will now need to drive them to either the Merle-Smith Campus (MSC) or the Swain Campus (SC) to connect with the appropriate campus shuttle.

Please note, the Pocono and New Jersey routes will continue as scheduled and will drop off at MSC, where students can transfer to a shuttle if needed.

To help ensure the sustainability of each route, a minimum number of riders will be required for a route to run.

We are also in the process of determining when MSC afternoon shuttles will depart campus—either at the end of the school day or after sports—based on the needs of our families.

We understand that these changes may require adjustments to your routine, and we appreciate your cooperation as we implement this new system. Our continued goal is to provide safe, reliable transportation while being mindful of cost and efficiency.
