Moravian Academy Celebrates 2026 National Junior Honor Society Inductees

On May 21, Moravian Academy welcomed a new cohort of student leaders into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) during an induction ceremony celebrating scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Current eighth grade NJHS members welcomed the newest seventh grade inductees from both the Historic Downtown and Swain Campuses into the organization. Forty seventh grade students were recognized for their outstanding achievements and meaningful contributions both inside and outside the classroom.

Membership in the NJHS is one of the highest honors awarded to middle school students and reflects a strong commitment to academic excellence and community involvement. The inductees have demonstrated leadership through participation in student council, clubs, extracurricular activities, and event planning, while also pursuing interests in athletics, music, visual arts, and faith-based organizations.

Beyond their accomplishments at school, these students have embraced the importance of service. Many dedicate their time to supporting food banks and other community organizations, making a positive impact on those around them.
