Early Childhood (Preschool–Kindergarten)
Joyful Learning and Play
Our Early Childhood program on the Historic Downtown Campus is about savoring the experience of being a child. Days begin with warm community circles, fostering kindness, patience, and respect. Through hands-on experiments, imaginative play, and personalized math and writing programs, children explore and grow at their own pace, making learning both joyful and developmentally focused.
Lower School (Grades 1–5)
Extraordinary Learning Experiences for All Ages
Our Lower School students engage in rich, interactive learning designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Each day offers opportunities for exploration and discovery, encouraging students to grow, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Experiential projects and field trips extend learning beyond the classroom, bringing lessons to life in engaging, memorable ways.
Middle School (Grades 6–8)
It's Cool to be Smart Here
At Moravian Academy, Middle Schoolers embrace learning with curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Sixth graders dive into cross-curricular projects. Seventh graders bring literature to life with Pop-Up Shakespeare performances. Eighth graders hone critical thinking through lively Harkness table debates.
Being smart here is not only about academics. It is also about creativity, collaboration, empathy, and leadership. Through music, theater, the performing arts, and social-emotional learning, students discover their passions, build confidence, and develop the skills to thrive in every part of life.
