Community Service

Helping Our Community

Practicing empathy with our neighbors.
Students participate in community service projects include visiting residents in nearby nursing homes, making bag lunches for local food banks, and collecting coats for local shelters. In the spring, students also have the opportunity to volunteer at local Camel’s Hump Farm to assist with spring cleanup and summer preparations.

On campus, students champion sustainability efforts, spend time rehearsing for handbell performances and special music in chapel, and spend time mentoring their younger, student buddies. It is an important part of our Moravian heritage to serve others. We are proud to continue this tradition by providing our students with opportunities to grow in spirit by helping in our community.

WE LEAD WITH HEAD AND HEART

During the holiday season, students have always looked for ways to give back to the community. Our second graders collect books for the South Bethlehem chapter of Cops -N- Kids. Our fifth graders collect coats and other winter items to give to Pinebrook Family Answers in Allentown. The Middle School filled Holiday Hope Chests with age-appropriate stocking stuffers to give to homeless and disadvantaged middle school-age youth in the Lehigh Valley.
