As part of Moravian Academy's ongoing commitment to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors, we are excited to introduce three outstanding professionals who will be joining the Moravian Academy community in mid-August. Rob Stametz, Rebecca Aviles, and Jeremy Anderson have all been serving our campuses through Cardinal Point and will officially become Moravian Academy employees as members of our security team.
Rob Stametz joins Moravian Academy as our Director of Security and will be based primarily on the Historic Downtown Campus. Rob brings more than 21 years of law enforcement experience, including leadership roles with the Bethlehem Township Police Department, along with extensive expertise in emergency preparedness, crisis management, and community policing. Prior to his law enforcement career, Rob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Corporal while leading a squad of Marines. We thank Rob for his military service and look forward to the leadership and experience he brings to our community.
Rebecca Aviles joins Moravian Academy as our Site Supervisor for the Merle Smith Campus. Rebecca brings extensive experience in security operations, emergency response, team leadership, and site supervision. Her background in both military and civilian security environments, combined with her calm, professional approach to leadership, makes her an outstanding addition to our community. We also extend our sincere thanks to Rebecca for her military service.
Jeremy Anderson joins Moravian Academy as our Site Supervisor for the Swain Campus. Jeremy brings more than two decades of law enforcement experience with the Bethlehem Township Police Department, including serving as a School Resource Officer, Road Sergeant, and Investigative Supervisor. He also completed a distinguished 28-year career in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9)—the highest enlisted rank, achieved by approximately the top one percent of enlisted personnel. Throughout his military and law enforcement careers, Jeremy has led emergency response operations, developed school safety protocols, mentored officers and service members, and built strong relationships with students, families, and school communities. We are grateful for Jeremy's dedicated military service and are excited to welcome him to Moravian Academy.
Together, Rob, Rebecca, and Jeremy bring decades of leadership, military service, law enforcement expertise, and school safety experience to Moravian Academy. Their commitment to service and protecting others reflects our continued investment in the safety and well-being of every member of our community.
Please join us in giving Rob, Rebecca, and Jeremy a warm Moravian Academy welcome. We are excited to have them on our team and look forward to the positive impact they will have across all three campuses.
Welcome to Moravian Academy, Rob, Rebecca, and Jeremy!
