Special Events

The Office of Institutional Advancement, with the help of countless volunteers, hosts several fundraising and community events throughout the year. These events not only raise more than $400,000 for the school's operations, faculty and staff salaries and benefits, facilities maintenance, educational programs, and financial aid, but also contribute to the fabric of the Moravian Academy community. The main fundraising events at Moravian Academy include The Benefit, Golf Outing, and Pickleball Tournament.

Moravian Academy Benefit

The Moravian Academy Benefit is our largest fundraising event of the year. Since 1983, the Benefit has raised more than $3.3 million for our operating budget, funding projects including technology and facility upgrades, financial aid, faculty professional development, and so much more. These unrestricted funds ultimately benefit every one of our students. There are so many ways our community gets involved: volunteering on the Benefit Committee, donating an auction item, advertising in our auction catalog, event sponsorship, or attending the event to partake in a fabulous evening of fun!

Golf Outing
Each year, Moravian Academy hosts a Golf Outing at one of the Lehigh Valley's beautiful and challenging 18-hole courses to raise unrestricted funds for the school. More than 100 golfers participate, including parents of current students and alumni, grandparents, alumni, sponsors, and friends of the school. The day concludes with an awards ceremony and a full reception.

Pickleball Tournament
Starting in fall 2025, Moravian Academy’s Pickleball Tournament will debut as its own dedicated event, creating even more opportunities for fun, connection, and community support. A beginner clinic will kick things off, making the tournament welcoming for all skill levels. New players and seasoned players alike can join us for an exciting day of competition, plenty of laughs, and a shared mission to raise funds for Moravian Academy.
