Annual Fund Committee - Volunteer members of the Annual Fund Committee assist and advise the Institutional Advancement Office in raising funds to support the operating budget of the school.

Art Guild – Lower School The Art Guild closely assists the art teacher and provides hands-on help to students in the art room. It organizes parent volunteers to help with special class projects as needed.

Moravian Academy Auction - Our largest fundraising event relies on many volunteers to acquire, catalog and display items; to promote sponsorship and sweepstakes sales; for marketing and set up.
Candle Dressing - Hundreds of beeswax candles are "dressed" in special red paper trim for the traditional Christmas Vespers held in Central Moravian Church.
Country Fair - Parent volunteers plan this special family day and, along with students and faculty, oversee activities on the day of the Fair.
Father-Daughter Dinner Dance - Each spring, the Upper School girls and their fathers enjoy a formal dinner dance, a Moravian tradition for more than 50 years. Volunteers take care of the arrangements, invitations, decorations, door prizes, and favors.
Golf Outing – Moravian Academy parents, alumni and friends enjoy a day of golfing. Volunteers are needed to help obtain prizes and sponsorships and to promote attendance.
Global Awareness Committee - Volunteers on the Global Awareness Committee work together to host a large event in the spring that allows our parents, staff, and students to become globally aware. A series of smaller events may also be planned throughout the year. All events will expose Moravian Academy families to the unique cultural and diverse aspects of our Moravian Academy community.
Lower School Grade Parent - Volunteers help involve parents in classroom, divisional, and all-school events. At the Lower School, the volunteers assist the teachers with various classroom activities and chaperone field trips.
Middle School Grade Parent - Volunteers help involve parents in classroom, divisional, and all-school events.
Upper School Grade Parent - Volunteers help involve parents in classroom, divisional, and all-school events.
Grandparents' Days - In November, grandparents visit the Upper School, Middle School, and grades one through five in the Lower School. Volunteers help with arrangements and in hosting the events.
Leadership - The Parents' Association is for mothers and fathers who are willing to serve on the Parents’ Association Board of Directors by chairing a volunteer committee and/or assuming an officer’s position. The Alumni Association also is always looking for alumni involvement.
Library Guild - Library Aides assist the school librarians throughout the year, help with book inventory, conduct book fairs, and organize the popular used book sale at Country Fair.
Lovefeasts - Volunteers address invitations and wrap Lovefeast cookies for the Fathers’, Mothers’, and All-School Birthday Lovefeasts.
Mailings - Help is always needed addressing, collating, folding, and sorting. This work is usually done during school hours in the Development Office at 7 East Market Street.
Lower School Parent Ambassadors - Returning parents help to welcome new parents, one-to-one, by answering or directing questions, offering ideas on how to get involved in the Academy's many volunteer activities, and encouraging attendance at parent meetings throughout the year.
Middle School Parent Ambassadors - Returning parents help to welcome new parents, one-to-one, by answering or directing questions, offering ideas on how to get involved in the Academy's many volunteer activities, and encouraging attendance at parent meetings throughout the year.
Upper School Parent Ambassadors - Returning parents help to welcome new parents, one-to-one, by answering or directing questions, offering ideas on how to get involved in the Academy's many volunteer activities, and encouraging attendance at parent meetings throughout the year.
M.A. Lion Backers - Middle and Upper Schools - Volunteers help make visiting teams feel welcome at home games and tournaments. They also provide refreshments and snacks.
Alumni Reunion - The Alumni Reunion is held each fall and includes numerous events. Volunteers are invited to help coordinate all the activities.
S.A.M.S. - Social Activities for Middle School - Parents enjoy each other’s company while participating in these after-school activities.
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day - Volunteers plan a special thank you to our teachers and staff. Help is needed with planning, baking, set-up, and clean-up.
Wreath and Ornament Sale - The Parents’ Association sponsors a sale of evergreen wreaths, holiday bows and ornaments. Volunteers make the bows, process the orders, and distribute the items on the designated pick-up/shipping date.
