Moravian Academy is committed to supporting the transportation needs of its students. We have students attending Moravian from the greater Lehigh Valley area, New Jersey, the Pocono region, and Bucks County.
Under the provisions of PA Act 372, public school districts must provide transportation service to non-public students that is equivalent to the service provided to public school students within their districts, provided the non-public school campus is no further than 10 miles from the school district’s closest boundary.
At no cost, the following school districts provide daily transportation to the Academy:
LS=Lower School; MS=Middle School; US=Upper School

For a fee, Moravian Academy provides transportation to the Allentown, East Penn, Parkland, New Jersey (along Rt. 78) and Stroudsburg areas (along the Rt. 33 corridor). Partial year rates (see below) will be available to facilitate student participation in after-school activities.
Moravian Academy buses depart immediately after school all year. There is no late activity bus.
Fee schedule for all Moravian Academy sponsored transportation is:
Round trip - $3,100
One-way or round trip for half year - $1,550
One-way (to school) and home two of three sports seasons - $2,540 (playing one sport)
One-way (to school) and home one of three sports seasons - $2,000 (playing two sports)
Inter-Campus Shuttle Service is also available from Merle-Smith Campus to the Church St. Campus in the mornings, returning to the Merle-Smith Campus in the afternoon.

Bus routes are developed by the school district or the bus company that is providing transportation services. Notification of stops and times will be sent to parents by your home school district prior to the opening of school, provided the transportation form is completed and submitted to the Academy on a timely basis.
For Moravian Academy bus routes, central pick-up and drop-off locations are a necessity due to the large area being covered by the service. Please note that there is no credit or adjustment made for absence or non-use.
Exceptions are made for parents who enroll their children for half-day service or students who arrive after the start of the school year or leave prior to its conclusion. In such instances pro rate adjustments may be made.
Good behavior is expected of students while riding on all vehicles. Students should adhere to the bus rules and regulations of their school district or Moravian Academy bus policies.
