Moravian Academy offers a wide variety of interscholastic athletic options for both boys and girls at the Middle School and Upper School throughout the school year. High levels of participation are valued and encouraged by both students and coaches. Consequently, in any given year 80% of the student body joins at least one athletic team. All ninth grade students must participate in at least one season of an interscholastic sports program or the Outdoor Education Program.
As long as facilities permit, no students are cut from teams. At the present, there are roster limitations in the Upper School golf, and girls' and boys' tennis programs. No matter the sport, a commitment to teamwork, ethical sportsmanship, and sound conditioning methods are valued beyond the tally of wins and losses.
Moravian Academy athletic teams compete as a full member of the Colonial League. Moravian Academy is also a member of District XI and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA).
Please be advised: Cancellation of practices and games will be decided upon no later than noon, and will be announced in school and posted online. Also, return times are strictly an estimate.
