It was a truly wonderful weekend to be a Moravian Academy lion! Hundreds of current families and more than 100 alumni joined us at the Country Fair and other activities this past weekend. It was a weekend filled with smiling faces and fun for all who participated.
From Friday's Lovefeast in Central Church to a Saturday with friends at Country Fair, our community was alive with a full array of special events to delight the mind, body, and spirit. It was energizing to see our engaged community's many insightful, caring, and fun-loving people enjoying themselves, each other, and our school throughout Country Fair. It was an outstanding day of weather and fun - and also triumph for Moravian Academy as all three varsity teams won consequential games in soccer and field hockey!
I want to personally thank all the people that made the weekend such and enjoyable success starting with all of our parent volunteers, especially the committee who organized Country Fair and manned the booths. Thanks to the Advancement Office team, who hosted our many weekend events, including fun gatherings for alumni and friends from Friday through Saturday night as well as the alumni luncheon. They helped to organize the games, rides and pony rides, and many booths as they coordinate the team of volunteers from the Parents Association. The weekend would not happen without the incredibly hard work from each member of the maintenance team, who go above and beyond for all of us. Kudos also to the athletic coaches and music teachers who dedicate their time to supporting the success of our students on every day of the week. And special thanks to the many volunteers who made the early morning's 5K fun run happen. After such a special weekend, we are so looking forward to next year’s events!
