Extracurricular Activities

We're in passionate pursuit of
whatever piques our curiosity.

With clubs and athletic teams for nearly every interest,
learning, leading, and team-building happen beyond
the classroom.

We encourage students to continue exploring areas that pique their curiosity by joining one of our teams, clubs, or activities. All of our extracurricular activities are led by an expert faculty member who is assigned based on their knowledge and passion for a specific topic or sport, which makes joining an excellent way for students to create strong mentor relationships with faculty members.

Throughout the year, after-school activities are offered to our Lower School students. Classes are offered once per week for one hour and allow students to take dive deeper into discovering their passions.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING TRIPS

The Downtown Campus offers several overnight trips beginning in 3rd Grade. On these trips, students make connections with their classmates, learn about themselves, and dig deeper into the curricula they study.

Getting outside the classroom, students engage in collaborative outdoor learning including kayaking, climbing walls, and high ropes courses. There are also trips to cities along the east coast, allowing students to learn further about the origins of our country and some of the events which sparked our revolution, explore colonial buildings and travel the Freedom Trail, or tour national museums.

Middle School students also have the opportunity to go on several global studies trips that allow our students to be immersed in different cultures. Students may travel to Montreal and Quebec City and we are also researching traveling to Puerto Rico.
