The goal of this plan from the start has been to provide guidelines for safely operating school and summer programs in-person, on-campus.  As the COVID-19 pandemic has evolved, the plan has evolved with it.  This guide reflects our current knowledge and is updated as new information is made available.

In the guide, you will see that Moravian Academy has shifted to the three-tier system utilized by both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Policy Lab. In each tier (Low Transmission, Medium Transmission, and High Transmission), information and policies regarding the following are presented:  

Masks	Physical distancing
Transportation	Personal hygiene
Quarantine & isolation	Cleaning & Disinfection
Daytime field trips	Overnight trips
Ventilation & use of outdoor spaces	Athletics
Visitors/volunteers	Community events
Maintaining a healthy campus	Remote instruction

In addition to the CDC and CHOP Policy Lab, we continue to receive expert guidance from our trusted partners at St. Luke's University Health Network.
