Morning Extended Care is a program Moravian Academy provides at the Downtown and Swain School Campuses for students from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. Afternoon Extended Care runs from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m. and offers students a chance for outdoor play, homework help, games, and other age-appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment.
Students may choose to participate in six to eight-week afternoon programs that are offered for a fee in fall, winter, and spring. The content of the programs is varied each year and brings new and exciting offerings. Past programming includes coding, chess, drama, art, crafts, cooking, geocaching, cup stacking, and knitting and sewing. Students are invited to enroll in the programs on a first-come, first-served basis each trimester.
The Extended Care program works to accommodate each family's weekly schedule but can also accommodate drop-ins. Advance notice is appreciated.
