Moravian Academy has two global exchanges to Guatemala and France. Our families have the opportunity to host students and then be hosted by those students family over spring break in France or in June in Guatemala.
Guatemalan Exchange
Moravian families host students from mid-October through mid-December and then travel to visit their host families and attend a private school in Guatemala City in June.
Belgium, Luxembourg, and France
Moravian families host students for two weeks in April after they've returned from their travel and exchange experience over spring break. On that trip, they will experience history through a walking tour of the Grand Place in Brussels followed by an in-depth exploration of Art Nouveau in the Bailli Village. On the way to Nancy, France students will visit the vast Bock Casemates tunnel network in Luxembourg, which encompasses a dungeon, prison and the Archaeological Crypt, considered the city's birthplace. Along ramparts above, the Chemin de la Corniche promenade offers dramatic viewpoints. Once in France, students participate in our school exchange with Saint Sigisbert School. Pairing up with French students, students participate in classes while also visiting the Palace of Versailles, Notre Dame, the Musée d’Orsay, and the Eiffel Tower.
