The Knight School Chess Team Opportunities

The Knight School’s priorities are, in order: 1) Sportsmanship, 2) Fun, and 3) Chess... and yet, all of our students become devastatingly advanced chess players! A few students last year even won in Regional Tournaments! Every chess class begins with the same question, “Welcome to The Knight School, how do you feel?” and all of my students yell, “GREEEATTT COACH!” so loud the entire school shakes. It is my mission to instill in all of my students excitement for learning, academic confidence, and a passion for the most mathematically complex game in the world! Learning chess has been proven to increase students’ standardized test scores and their capacity for STEM-learning and critical thinking.

We are also opening our preschool division, Little Geniuses, which includes songs, dances, puppet shows, and games, for students ages 3-5 in chess! This is a super fun class, and we have had consistently and amazingly strong learning outcomes for all of our preschoolers!

Chess costs $110/month for elementary and $100/month for preschool, and there are unlimited need-based scholarships available. To inquire about our scholarship program or any other questions, please email Coach Liv.
