There is a calm under the tent at the Upper School
where Moravian Academy's annual fundraiser, the Ball, will take
place. The rooms are filled with volunteers who are focused and
organized under a tight deadline. Saturday's event is a
culmination of the efforts made by many generous friends of M.A.
who oversee every detail, from procuring auction items to
setting tables. Why do so many parents enjoy volunteering?
"It has become a tradition over the years since we've been
here at Moravian- I look forward to it every year"; "I
enjoy spending time with the other parents, who through
volunteering have become my friends"; "I just like to
help out!" Thanks to the dedicated legion of volunteers,
the 2008 One World Ball will be our most exciting event yet!
