Middle School teacher Mrs. Sheetz had just
finished lunch when she was asked to come to the Devey Building
right away. Unbeknownst to her, local radio personality
Mark Shepperd from WLEV was waiting to present her with a
Teacher of the Week honor. One of Mrs. Sheetz's students had
nominated her on the station's website. Now that student and his
classmates will share in the glory of the award, which comes
with prizes for her students. Mrs. Sheetz also won a glass
plaque, a gift certificate for a massage courtesy of award
co-sponsor Sacred Heart Hospital, and a chance to become WLEV's
Teacher of the Quarter award, which honors the winner with money
