Soccer Without Borders Visits the Upper School

How do you combine your love of soccer with
the desire to be of service to others? By starting a non-profit
organization that promotes education through soccer! Ben
Gucciardi, Director of Soccer Without Borders, is a professional
soccer player for the San Francisco Seals who dedicates his
off-field time to promoting positive change to marginalized
youth in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Gucciardi told an inspiring
story of how he came to found the young non-profit, which
is based in San Francisco and staffed entirely of volunteers.
The students no doubt learned from Mr. Gucciardi that enormously
positive changes can be made through an individual's efforts to
