Senior
varsity boys and girls soccer players from throughout the area
enjoyed taking advantage of a final opportunity to showcase
their skills in front of local fans Sunday, June 1st during the
27th annual Lions All-Star Soccer Classic Sunday at
Nazareth
High School
's Andrew Leh Stadium.
In the boys' game,
Lehigh
Valley
shut out the combined group from the Colonial League and
Mountain Valley Conference, 3-0. The pair of Matthew
Blessing and Daniel Odenwelder, both members of the class of
2008 and recent graduates, were named the CL/MVC offensive and
defensive player of the game, respectively.
