Whose bridge can withstand the pressure? That's
what was on students' minds as they gathered to watch the annual
popsicle bridge testing. A longstanding tradition in Mr.
Bross's Advanced Physics class, the bridge testing yields
curiosity, suspense, and of course lessons. A hydraulic press
was set up to test the popsicle structures' "load to
mass" ratio. Although the audience cheered for their
favorites, all bridges had to be built according to the rules

design".
