Moravian Academy held its Annual Fathers’ Lovefeast for Grades 1-8, October 17. Fathers attended classes with their children on the Church Street campus from 8:15-9:15 am. Afterwards, they walked across "God’s Acre" to Moravian Central Church for the Lovefeast ceremony at 9:30 am.  Dr. Brian Kane, Professor of Moral Theology and Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Theology at DeSales University , and a parent at Moravian Academy was the guest speaker.  Click here to view a copy of his speech. 

The Lovefeast has traditionally consisted of a Moravian church service, the singing of hymns, followed by the congregation partaking of sugar cookies and apple juice. Students were seated with their fathers.
