Seventh Grade Offers Outdoor Performance
April 8, 2008

Anyone from Moravian Academy who walked through God's Acre to the Middle School on Tuesday was lucky to see original material performed by the seventh grade. Mr. Brennan's English class was assigned the ambitious project of writing, directing and performing a narrative tale. Groups of five students collaborated on the plays, which were required to have a narrator, a hero, and a chorus to propel the story. Students conjured up their version of the first Olympics starring Zeus, a boy who travels back in time to invent the cell phone, and a would-be actor who gets hoodwinked. All of the plays were creative and comical. Good work!
