All
students are expected to participate in community service during the
school year and over the summer. Each student is expected to
fulfill 40 hours of community service by the end of eleventh grade.
Students may
complete the requirements in several different ways:
1.
Students can volunteer at local non-profit
organizations that focus on the arts, children, the
environment, healthcare, the homeless and many other areas
in the community.
2.
Students can receive credit by volunteering to
help at school functions.

The Director of Community Service keeps all records of community
service activities. Students should consult with the Director
about the means by which they plan to fulfill the requirements.
