Moravian Academy is located in historic Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, approximately 50 miles north of Philadelphia, 70 miles west of New York City, and 20 miles south of the Pocono Mountains. The campuses are a short distance from Allentown and Easton, Pennsylvania, as well as Warren and Hunterdon counties in northwest New Jersey.

The city of Bethlehem, settled by the Moravians, is over 250 years old. Many of the original 18th century buildings, as well as the 19th and early 20th century structures associated with the steel industry remain. Antique shops and boutiques adjoin small businesses and restaurants. A cultural center, Bethlehem offers several annual festivals, as well as numerous opportunities to enjoy theater, music, films, and lectures. There are also many colleges nearby: Lehigh University, Moravian College, and Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, Lafayette College in Easton, Muhlenberg College, Cedar Crest College, Lehigh Carbon Community College in Allentown and De Sales University in Center Valley.
